A busy week!

Our friends Stephanie and Ray had a baby girl on September 8th, Elsa! She's adorable! Leah and I went to visit Elsa and Steph last week while Darryl had court. As you can see from the picture, the girls really enjoyed the visit!


Leah had a great week. We've started to introduce Rice Cereal into Leah's exciting Formula diet! She LOVES it! We started by putting a pinch in her bottle at bedtime and after a couple of nights decided she was ready to introduce it at dinner time. With arms flying and legs kicking, she squeaks the whole time you are trying to shove the runny stuff into her mouth. Darryl calls her "Lizard Tongue" because she keeps pushing it back out. Too cute! I accepted the challenge for "Walk Through October" with the Public Health Unit. I was given a pedometer and have to aim to walk at least 10, 000 steps a day. What a great motivator to get Leah and I out for our second walk in the evening. It's starting to cool off in the evening so poor Leah has to get all bundled up. She is not too fond of having to wear a jacket or hat and mitts. This picture looks like she is waving to the camera....unfortunately not. Her soother fell out and she's trying to put it back in! But cute none the less!
