On Friday morning after Leah had breakfast I put her on her mat so I could get myself some breakfast and came back in the room to find this....her holding her toy. She is starting to grasp things that I dangle in front of her. She picks the odd thing up off her Bumbo tray, although most of the toys just end up on the ground. We aren't sure if she's figured out how to use her hands, or if it's just pure luck. We'll see!
Leah LOVES Darryl! Oh my goodness, all he has to do is walk in the room and she's all smiles and talking constantly! It is sooo cute....but come on, I spend all day with her....how come I don't get that kind of greeting?! Speaking of which....the princess is waking up from her nap now! Here's a picture Darryl took. He was talking away to Leah and she was totally 'hamming it up' for the camera.
Leah LOVES the mirror. She's been checking herself out in it for a while, but today I decided to put her on the ground and see how long she'd last on her tummy looking in the mirror. She's too funny....gotta go, fully awake now!
