Another Wonderful Day

Leah and I had another wonderful day with great friends, Melissa, Gracie and Tessa. We headed to the North Bay waterfront. The girls enjoyed riding the Heritage Train and Carousels. Local artists hand painted the horses on the original carousel, and they built and painted the animals on the second one. The smaller carousel held many Canadian animals, beavers, deer, raccoon, rabbit, fox, etc. Leah's favourite choice, of course, was the half horse/half mermaid! ha! It was called the Trout Lake Monster!
Gracie, Leah and Tessa...buckled in and ready to go!
Ahhh, finally there!
Gracie was a little timid at first, but by the third ride she was a pro!

Heritage Train. The North Bay Heritage Train and Carousels are all run by volunteers. It was a great experience.

Leah's merhorse ;)
Conductor Leah.

Waiting patiently.
Sweet Kisses.
Leah the babysitter!
Doin' our alligator walk. The beach was nice, long and shallow.

We're starting them young! What bathing beauties we have!

Ohhhh, throw some gymnastics in there.
Tessa chillin'! She was great, slept through most of the day. Waking only when tormented by the other two, or to have a snack.

Huh! Is the wagon for passengers? or cargo? or a little bit of both?!

Awww...I totally remember all of that fun when we were in North Bay over 3 years ago. We have pics of that carousel and the train and such too. Good times for sure!
