...and so it begins....

Leah really enjoyed skating lessons tonight. She fell ALOT and by the middle of the lesson was confident in pulling herself back up. The young girl in the first picture met Leah at the gate and escorted her around for the first 15 minutes, holding her up. As soon as she'd leave Leah to work with another skater, Leah would stand still and wait for her to come back. Eventually, Leah gave up and worked a little bit on her own. She lasted 45 minutes, then skated her way across the rink to where we were standing to get off! The young girls tried to distract her, but she was determined she was finished. The other skaters came off shortly after. It was suppose to only be a 45 minute lesson, but I guess they keep them a little longer sometimes. When it was all said and done, it was definitely a success!
